PLI is searching for a multimedia professional to fill the role of Studio Technician (On-Call) (responsibilities and qualifications are described below). Work in a collaborative environment with a diverse, employee community.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Set up and operate a variety of cameras to capture high-quality footage. Adjust camera settings such as exposure, focus, and composition to achieve desired visual outcomes.
- Switch between camera feeds, graphics, and other video inputs to create a polished and professional production.
- Monitor and adjust audio levels to maintain clear and balanced sound quality. Ensure to place lavalier on speaker correctly.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Maintain effective and professional relationships within the Multimedia department and through the organization.
- →Teleprompter knowledge
- →Communicate effectively with Multimedia management.
- →Post-Production editing
- →Maintain and organize studio equipment. Perform routine equipment checks and assist in equipment setup and breakdown.
- →Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min read- 1-3 years of production experience in entertainment, web, broadcast or cable television required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Video Production is a plus.
- Proficiency is necessary in Microsoft Office & Adobe Creative Production Suite
- Must have experience in corporate events.
- Must be able to work responsibly on own, but also to interact professionally with a wide range of internal clients.
- Switcher Experience a plus.
- Audio experience a plus.
- Must display a willingness to juggle multiple projects and calmly meet challenging deadlines.
What We Offer
~1 min read$30.00 - $32.00 per hour
(Exact compensation offer may vary based on the candidate’s job-related skills and work experience.)
