PTC Japan K.K. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Regional Director to lead and expand our sales operations within a designated region in Japan. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth, developing strong customer relationships, and managing a high-performing sales team. Responsibilities:** * Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed regional sales targets and quotas. * Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. * Identify new business opportunities, build strong customer pipelines, and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close. * Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers. * Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies and product offerings. * Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, reports, and business reviews to senior management. * Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. * Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to optimize customer satisfaction and market penetration. * Manage regional budget and resources effectively to maximize ROI. Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred. * 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role, preferably within the software, technology, or industrial sector. * Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market. * Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing sales team. * Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions, PLM, CAD technologies is highly desirable. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Japanese and English (business level proficiency required). * Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to travel frequently within the designated region and occasionally internationally. * Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales forecasting tools.
