## Company: Qualcomm India Private Limited ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Hardware Engineering General Summary: Job Description \- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation tools and infrastructure supporting ASIC Front-End design flows. \- Analyze existing design workflows and propose solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and usability. \- Implement software-based solutions using Python, Perl, C++, or similar programming languages. \- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in CAD tools, scripts, and automation frameworks. \- Collaborate with design and CAD teams to understand requirements and deliver effective automation solutions. \- Support internal customers by enabling adoption of existing and newly developed tools. \- Contribute to documentation, tool validation, and continuous improvement of engineering methodologies. \- Explore and evaluate AI/ML-based approaches to enhance EDA tools and front-end design productivity. Educational Qualification Requirement \- Must hold a B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree in Electronics/VLSI stream. Required Skills \- 0-1 year of experience in CAD/EDA automation, software development, or RTL design. \- Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), Perl, C++, or similar languages. \- Good understanding of software development fundamentals, debugging, and problem-solving techniques. \- Ability to analyze requirements and design practical software solutions. \- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and scripting is a plus. \- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. \- Basic understanding of ASIC Front-End design flow and RTL concepts is desirable. \- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and their application in engineering workflows is a plus. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
