Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced (freelance or perm) Senior Spatial Designer for our team in Paris or Amsterdam. You will play a pivotal role in the creative process, from client-facing brief intakes to overseeing designers and creating innovative concepts. Your expertise in sketching, drawing, and 3D modeling will be essential in developing exceptional spatial design experiences. Additionally, your proficiency in interactive technology installations will be crucial in pushing the boundaries of our work.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct client-facing brief intakes to fully understand project requirements and objectives.
- Supervise and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and support throughout the creative process.
- Utilize your sketching, drawing, and 3D modeling skills to create and communicate imaginative design concepts.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore innovative design solutions.
- Oversee the development and execution of interactive technology installations within spatial projects.
- Ensure that design concepts align with the studio's vision and maintain high-quality standards in all deliverables.
- Collaborate with producers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications:
- Formal education in Spatial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of previous agency/studio experience as a Senior Designer or in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in interactive technology installations.
- Exceptional sketching, drawing, and 3D modeling skills to visualize and present design concepts effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of guiding designers to deliver outstanding results.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to translate client needs into compelling design solution
- Proficiency in English and French (work-level)*is essential.
