Re:Build Battery Cell Manufacturing is building a next-generation, U.S.-based battery cell production platform focused on delivering high-performance, secure, and domestically sourced energy solutions for defense, aerospace, and energy storage applications. Our approach integrates licensed and acquired battery technologies into proven lithium-ion manufacturing platforms, enabling rapid commercialization without reliance on foreign supply chains. With an initial 500 MWh production line and a clear pathway to multi-GWh scale, we are positioned to become a cornerstone of the U.S. battery ecosystem.
We are seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations within our battery cell production environment. This individual will be responsible for driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance across a defined value stream—from raw material input through cell production and testing.
This role is instrumental in scaling a high-growth manufacturing operation, optimizing throughput, and embedding Lean principles across the organization.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead end-to-end value stream performance (SQDC)
- →Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- →Oversee daily operations across battery cell production processes
- →Partner with engineering to improve yields and processes
- →Build and develop high-performing teams
- →Ensure safety and regulatory compliance
- →Collaborate with quality, supply chain, and engineering
- →Develop production plans and support scale-up
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- 7–12+ years in advanced manufacturing environments
- Experience leading a value stream or production area
- Strong Lean / Six Sigma background
- Experience with complex manufacturing processes
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Experience in regulated environments (ISO, IATF)
