A prominent non-profit organisation is seeking a diligent and organised Fundraising and Donor Relations Administrator. This role provides direct support to the Fundraising Manager and ensures that donor records are accurate at all times. The successful candidate will handle the vital administrative tasks that allow the fundraising team to grow, from precise data entry and donor thank-you letters to assisting with event logistics. This is a permanent position, in office, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm - R18 000 per month. Key Responsibilities Database and CRM Management Act as the primary custodian of the donor database, ensuring all donor information is captured accurately and promptly. Perform regular "data cleaning" to ensure contact lists are up-to-date. Extract basic reports and mailing lists for the Fundraising Manager to support targeted appeals. Donor Stewardship and Admin Prepare and send personalised thank-you letters, tax receipts, and donor welcome packs. Provide administrative support to the Fundraising Manager, including scheduling meetings and preparing basic presentations. Assist in the drafting of routine correspondence with corporate and individual donors. Campaign and Event Support Provide logistical support for fundraising events (e.g., managing guest lists, coordinating collateral, and assisting on-site). Assist in the gathering of "impact stories" from the hospital to be used in social media and newsletters. Monitor the fundraising inbox and ensure all general enquiries are handled professionally. Requirements Experience: 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or data-entry role (NPO experience is an advantage but not essential). Education: A completed Matric; a post-matric certificate or diploma in Administration or Office Management is preferred. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (sorting data, basic formulas) and Outlook. CRM Familiarity: Previous experience with any database or CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, or similar) is highly desirable. Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills with a warm, professional manner. Attention to Detail: A "perfectionist" approach to data entry and document formatting.
