A company that publishes news, data, and market intelligence is seeking a meticulous and highly organised individual to join their team as a Financial Data Capturer for 4 hours a day. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of a financial services industry-leading database and supporting the smooth administrative operations of the publication and events. You will be responsible for ensuring that data remains the most accurate in the market while assisting with general office administration. This will suit a candidate who does not want a full-time work commitment. You'll be very tech savvy and have a full home office set-up with a laptop and additional screens. Key Responsibilities Data Management: Accurately capture and update fund performance data, manager profiles, and market intelligence into the central database. Quality Assurance: Cross-verify data entries against source documents (e.g., fact sheets and reports) to ensure 100% accuracy and consistency. Stakeholder Liaison: Follow up with fund managers and industry partners via email and telephone to collect missing data or clarify information. Administrative Support: Assist in the preparation of reports, newsletters, and administrative tasks related to the annual Symposium. Document Control: Maintain an efficient digital filing system for all industry reports and sensitive commercial documentation. Requirements Education: A tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Finance, or Data Management is advantageous. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry or administrative roles, ideally within the financial services or media industries. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data formatting, basic formulas) and general computer literacy. Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision with the ability to spot errors in complex numerical data sets. Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for professional interaction with global clients. Personal Attributes A high degree of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial data. A proactive, "can-do" attitude with the ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
