This is not a social media manager role. It's not a content writer role. It's a hybrid:
- Thinking - deciding what topics and angles are worth communicating
- Producing - creating video content and appearing on camera
- Engaging - actively participating in discussions across communities
- Supervising - reviewing and aligning all content before it goes out
You'll both create content yourself (especially video) and coordinate content created by others - including AI-generated drafts and team contributions. You own the outcome, not just your own output.
This role focuses exclusively on social media and community communication. It does not own PR, company-wide messaging strategy, or employee advocacy programs.
Requirements
~1 min read- Idea-driven - you spot relevant topics before they're obvious and understand what makes content valuable to a specific audience
- Hands-on executor - comfortable creating video content, being on camera, and working at volume with iteration
- Platform-native - you understand how communication actually differs between LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, and Telegram - not in theory, in practice
- Strong communicator - you adapt tone, structure, and depth to the audience and platform
- Organized - you manage multiple content streams without letting quality or consistency slip
- AI-enabled - you use AI to accelerate creation and improve quality, not as a crutch
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience in B2B SaaS - required
- Understanding of affiliate / performance marketing
- English C1/C2
- Proven ability to create, edit, and adapt content across audiences
- Comfortable with video creation and appearing on camera
Nice to Have
~1 min read- YouTube content creation experience
- Active community participation (Reddit, Slack, Discord)
- Understanding of SEO / LLM / content visibility
- Experience with AI content tools
