As we migrate our site to the Sanity Content Management System (CMS), we are modernizing our publishing infrastructure to support growth and AI-ready experiences. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting a large-scale CMS migration in a fast-moving digital product environment.
About your role
As a Web Publishing Intern focused on CMS Migration, you will support the transition of legacy web pages into Sanity CMS. You’ll gain hands-on experience with content management systems, QA workflows, and cross-functional publishing operations while contributing to a business-critical infrastructure initiative.
You will work closely with the Publishing Manager, Content team, Design team, Product, and Engineering partners to ensure migrated pages maintain high quality, accuracy, and performance standards.
This is an early-career opportunity ideal for someone interested in web production, digital operations, or content management systems.
How you will make a difference day to day
- Assist with migrating landing pages and articles into Sanity CMS.
- Populate CMS components accurately using structured templates.
- Validate links, metadata, schema, and formatting during migration.
- Conduct QA reviews to ensure no broken links, layout inconsistencies, or publishing errors.
- Help track migration progress in Jira and maintain documentation.
- Proofread content updates in American English.
- Test publishing changes in staging and production environments.
- Assist with publishing tickets and queue management.
- Support release readiness for product launches and campaign updates.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to understand publishing requirements.
- Participate in release coordination meetings.
- Learn how CMS workflows connect to broader product and business goals.
What you’ll need
- Ability to read, write and speak in American English in a professional setting.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Interest in web publishing, digital operations, or CMS platforms.
- Clear written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment.
Nice to Have
~2 min read- Experience working with a CMS (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Drupal, Sanity, etc.).
- Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS.
- Experience using project management tools like Jira or Trello.
- Interest in legal tech, SaaS, or product operations.

- San Francisco Bay Area, CA: $32.00
- California (outside of San Francisco Bay Area): $29.60
- Colorado: $27.20
- Utah, Arizona, and North Carolina: $25.60
Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, specific work location, and performance during the interview process. In addition to base salary, this role may include variable compensation and be eligible for an equity grant, depending on the position and level.
