About Rocket Lawyer

We believe everyone deserves access to affordable and simple legal services. Founded in 2008, Rocket Lawyer is the largest and most widely used online legal service platform in the world. With offices in North America, South America, and Europe, Rocket Lawyer has helped over 30 million people create over 50 million legal documents, and get their legal questions answered.

We are in a unique position to enhance and expand the Rocket Lawyer platform to a scale never seen before in the company’s history, to capture audiences worldwide. We are expanding our team to take on this challenge!

About your role

As a legal Intern for Rocket Legal Professional Services, Inc. (“RLPS”), you will report to the paralegal supervisor and work alongside the teams of attorneys and paralegals assigned to RLPS, the Arizona-licensed ABS law firm owned by Rocket Lawyer Inc. You will have the opportunity to work on special projects, help provide limited scope legal services, and learn about and help shape the processes used by RLPS. Customer value is our North Star, so we are looking for someone who understands the unique legal situations small businesses and individuals encounter. You will see first hand how innovation and the use of alternative business structures and other regulatory reforms can expand access to justice. This is an opportunity to be part of a team that helps break down barriers that prevent people from getting the legal help they need in the US and around the world.

How you will make a difference day to day

  • Provide support to the paralegal supervisor and all of RLPS.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of legal issues across multiple jurisdictions, as needed, to provide accurate information to customers.

  • Partner with the paralegal supervisor to conduct legal information consultations.
  • Coordinate and complete a special project that you develop with the paralegal supervisor.

  • Proficiency with Google Apps.
  • Self-starter who will thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment.
