Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our EMT workforce. Key responsibilities include:
- →Strategic Scheduling: Develop, manage, and optimize schedules for 600+ team members, ensuring appropriate coverage and proactively adjusting to fluctuating call volumes.
- →Certification Management: Monitor EMT certifications to ensure compliance, and manage renewals and expirations in a timely manner.
- →Problem Solving: Handle scheduling requests with a solution-oriented mindset, balancing operational needs while maintaining a positive and collaborative approach.
- →Data Analysis: Leverage the Unit Hour Utilization application to analyze performance metrics and deliver actionable insights through daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- →Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a key liaison between Operations and HR, ensuring clear communication and supporting initiatives such as the EMT ride-along program.
- →Event & Ad Hoc Staffing: Coordinate staffing for special events and urgent requests, maintaining efficiency in dynamic and fast-paced situations.
- →New Hire Onboarding: Oversee scheduling for the New Hire Academy, supporting the successful onboarding and development of new team members.
- Relationship-Driven: You enjoy working with people and excel at building strong, professional relationships through clear communication.
