Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive – Creative Design to join our team. Job Summary In this role, you will be reporting to the Group Manager – Marketing and will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing the reputation and visibility of the Royal Institute of Colombo. This role will play a pivotal role in the creative department, leading the design efforts for various projects and campaigns. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced designer with a strong creative vision and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual content. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of design principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding results. Key Responsibilities Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all design projects across RI SBUs, maintaining visual integrity and brand recognition. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output. Design engaging and persuasive content for marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, infographics, and presentations. Create visually compelling graphics for digital platforms, including website elements, social media posts, email templates, and online advertisements. Liaise with printing vendors to ensure the quality and timely production of printed materials, maintaining brand standards and budget constraints. Assist with photography and video editing tasks as needed for marketing campaigns and promotional materials. Practice new technology applications to enhance the quality of graphics and stay up to date with market trends, ensuring that design strategies remain innovative and competitive. Produce and edit video content for marketing campaigns and promotional materials, including concept development, filming, and post-production editing. Create/generate organic content for social media channels across different SBUs Practice new technology applications to enhance the quality of graphics and stay up to date with market trends, ensuring that design strategies remain innovative and competitive. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field or equivalent professional qualifications. Minimum 3 years of experience in graphic design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software. Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and innovative design solutions across various mediums. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices is a plus.
