→Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, motor graders, loaders, carryalls, scrapers, rollers, and tractors with attachments such as bush hogs and mower attachments
→Perform maintenance and repair of roads, berms, drainage systems, and other range infrastructure
→Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment using heavy machinery
→Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report malfunctions or safety issues
→Assist in erosion control, soil stabilization, and vegetation management activities
→Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment
→Maintain equipment in good working order and perform minor repairs as needed
→Operate vehicles and equipment in compliance with Fort Rucker and Army regulations

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, graders, scrapers, and tractors
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent as required by state and federal regulations
Certification or training in heavy equipment operation preferred
Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to follow safety protocols
Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs on equipment
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
