About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a General Ledger (GL) Finance Executive. As a GL Finance Executive, you will play a key role in managing the financial activities of the organization, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions, and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger. You will collaborate closely with various departments within the organization to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries and monthly management account

Conduct analysis of financial data in management account to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and support.

Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to audit inquiries.

Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and recommend necessary adjustments.

Provide guidance and accounting advice to team members whenever necessary.

Identify opportunities to improve GL processes and drive efficiency through automation and AI tools

Must-have:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Proven work experience in a GL accountant or general accounting role, preferably in shared services and audit.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes

Adept at navigating ERP systems and specialized accounting platforms, with Oracle NetSuite expertise considered a significant asset.

Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve workflow efficiency

Nice-to-have:

ACCA (part-qualified or pursuing) is a plus

Experience supporting multi-market or regional finance operations
