We are looking for an inspiring leader to join our Senior Leadership Team and champion a culture of delivery excellence.  This role balances big-picture strategy with a love for staying connected to the day-to-day action and being hands-on. You lead with genuine care, ensuring every individual has the support they need to thrive and grow professionally. You will enjoy applying your commercial acumen and understand the importance of meeting our financial, customer satisfaction, and other business goals.  

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take ownership of our Professional Services function, which includes Delivery, Strategy & Design, QA, and Development. 

What you’ll be doing…

• As a key member of the SLT, you will align delivery strategy with Silverstripe’s long-term vision and business goals, and participate in the wider SLT workload.
• Lead and mentor a delivery operations team including Delivery Leads, the Creative Director, and the QA Director balancing hands-on delivery support with a proactive focus on team well-being and professional growth
• Take ownership of optimising capacity planning, resource management, and pipeline health. You will leverage data-driven insights to provide a holistic view of delivery, ensuring all projects consistently meet time, scope and budget requirements.
• Champion Agile and Lean practices, and the uptake of rapidly-evolving AI practices, to increase project profitability, quality, and timeframes across all delivery streams
• Manage high-level escalations and build trust with C-Suite stakeholders, ensuring our most complex engagements are set up for success.
• Optimise commercial outcomes by overseeing the delivery portfolio to ensure all projects hit their financial benchmarks and KPIs

We’re looking for someone who…

• You have a track record of leading teams of leaders and role-model our principles of Positive Impact, Emotional Intelligence and Empowering Vision.
• You can take a complex problem and find a solution, balancing long-term business strategy with day-to-day operational needs.
• You are an exceptional relationship builder, capable of establishing rapport and being seen as a trusted expert with senior/C-Suite customer stakeholders and navigating complex client requirements.
• You understand the financial and commercial side of delivery including utilisation, and ensuring proposals and Statements of Work are of the highest quality.
• You are flexible and adaptable, comfortable managing multiple high-stakes customer relationships simultaneously in a fast-paced agency or vendor environment.
  

What skills and experience will set you apart…

• At least 6 years in a senior project management/programme management or delivery role within the technical/digital industry.
• Proven success working in agency or vendor environments, managing high-value engagements.
• Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and a passion for lean delivery practices, and either experience and/or strong interest in applying AI to speed up web/software development.
• A strong understanding of the web industry and its future direction.
• Familiarity with government procurement and large-scale digital transformations
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience of meeting financial KPIs and ensuring the overall profitability 
• Natural leader of people, inspiring and supporting the team’s growth and well-being 
• Ideally possess proven experience in a Senior Leadership role, with the ability to navigate organisational breadth with alignment with broader business objectives
