We are currently hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Production In-charge located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily production activities to ensure output targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved. Monitor production workflows and identify bottlenecks affecting efficiency and productivity. Implement quality control procedures and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards. Coordinate with maintenance, quality, stores, and engineering teams to resolve operational issues. Analyze production reports and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Lead and supervise production teams, allocating manpower effectively across shifts. Develop cost-saving and process optimization strategies to improve operational performance. Required Skills Production Management – Managing daily manufacturing operations and workforce allocation. Quality Control – Ensuring products meet quality and compliance standards. Mechanical Engineering Knowledge – Applying engineering principles to production processes. Process Improvement – Identifying and implementing productivity enhancement initiatives. Data Analysis – Evaluating production metrics for informed decision-making. Preferred Skills Lean Manufacturing Concepts ERP/MRP Software Knowledge Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement Practices Work Experience Requirements Candidates should possess 3–8 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments. Experience in mechanical engineering-based industries is preferred. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced production setup while managing teams and operational targets. Education Minimum: Diploma / B.E.
