Our client, an AI consulting and custom software firm, is seeking an AI-Native Engineer to build and manage production-grade systems across multiple industries including behavioral health, manufacturing, equipment finance, hospitality, and self-storage.
The company is experiencing rapid growth (recent $700K quarter) and expanding operations across Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas. This role is critical in supporting that growth by delivering scalable, AI-driven software solutions across a variety of client environments.
The primary function of this role is to design, build, and manage multiple custom software systems (CRMs, ERPs, EMRs, and internal tools) while leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate development and improve system performance.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and maintain full-stack applications across multiple client projects simultaneously
- →Build and customize systems including CRMs, ERPs, EMRs, and property management platforms
- →Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, Replit, Codex) to enhance development speed and output quality
- →Manage end-to-end development cycles from architecture to deployment
- →Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to define technical requirements
- →Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve existing systems
- →Maintain organized workflows using tools like Jira or similar project management platforms
- →Balance multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Requirements
~1 min read- 2–5 years of full-stack software development experience
- Strong proficiency in modern web development frameworks (frontend + backend)
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Codex, Replit)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias toward action
- Comfortable working independently without heavy oversight
- Strong English communication skills
- Experience building or customizing CRMs (beyond platforms like HubSpot/Salesforce)
- Familiarity with ERP, EMR, property management, or fleet management systems
- Experience working with healthcare (e.g., clinics), manufacturing, or real estate clients
- Familiarity with agile workflows and tools like Jira
- Curiosity and passion for staying on the cutting edge of AI development
- Full-time, remote position
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
- Flexibility available (option for alternative schedules such as Friday–Tuesday to support 7-day coverage)
