We are seeking a highly meticulous, process-driven Bookkeeper based in South Africa to take full operational ownership of the day-to-day general ledger maintenance across our multiple US-based entities. This position is built for a senior numbers operator who goes beyond mechanical data entry to actively audit transactions, run complex reconciliations, and drive our month-end close workflows to a clean, on-time completion.
Reporting directly to the Finance Operations Lead, you will bridge day-to-day transactional accounting with financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate is deeply autonomous, possesses a rigorous understanding of US bookkeeping workflows (including accrual accounting adjustments), and maintains flawless communication protocols inside a fast-moving, remote environment.
