Demand & Supply Analyst
The Demand & Supply Analyst serves as the central analytical anchor connecting Operations, Retail, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Experience to ensure zero stock-outs and maximum operational efficiency. Sitting within a fast-growing, high-volume consumer goods brand specializing in sustainable, eco-friendly household products across DTC and retail channels, this role ensures products are in the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantities. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Planning & Retail Logistics, the successful candidate will oversee inventory tracking, forecasting models, purchasing support, and operational dashboarding.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Inventory Management & Stock Control (~30%):
- →Monitor daily inventory across multiple SKUs and 3PL locations.
- →Track inventory movements.
- →Identify stock-out and overstock risks.
- →Assist with reconciliation and cycle count audits.
- →Demand Planning & Forecasting (~25%):
- →Maintain demand forecasting models based on historical sales velocity and seasonal trends.
- →Ensure data integrity.
- →Distribute inventory planning briefs.
- →Purchasing & Supply Planning (~20%):
- →Support purchase order generation.
- →Assist with replenishment planning and safety stock calculations.
- →Monitor supplier lead times and transit issues.
- →Data Analysis & Dashboarding (~15%):
- →Build and update inventory dashboards (Google Sheets/Excel).
- →Track key operational metrics, including Weeks of Supply (WOS) and turnover rates.
- →Automate manual tasks.
- →Cross-Functional Collaboration (~10%):
- →Partner with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Retail teams to align inventory availability with promotional campaigns and launches.
Requirements
~1 min read- 1–3+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, inventory coordination, or analytical operations.
- Experience in e-commerce, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or retail environments preferred.
- Master-level command of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (including nested formulas, pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, data validation, and dashboard modeling).
- Practical experience with ERP systems, inventory management software (e.g., NetSuite, Katana, Cin7), or 3PL portal software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Detail-obsessed and highly analytical.
- Analytical precision.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Flawless written and spoken English for synchronous collaboration with leadership.
