We are looking for a highly motivated Research Analyst to support our team with company research, contact sourcing, CRM management, and database building initiatives.

You will play a key support role in helping the firm identify opportunities, maintain accurate databases, and improve operational efficiency across research and pipeline management activities.

• Research companies, industries, and market segments within the food & beverage and agribusiness sectors
• Gather and organize information on prospective acquisition targets, investors, executives, and strategic partners
• Conduct online research using public databases, LinkedIn, company websites, and industry resources
• Compile competitor and market intelligence reports

• Build targeted prospect and contact lists
• Source decision-makers and executive contact information
• Maintain highly organized Excel spreadsheets and research databases
• Verify and clean data for accuracy and completeness

• Maintain and update CRM records consistently
• Organize pipeline information and contact activity
• Ensure CRM data integrity and standardized record keeping
• Assist with workflow tracking and internal reporting

• Prepare reports, summaries, and data exports for leadership
• Support outreach and business development initiatives through research
• Assist with special projects and operational tasks as needed
• Identify ways to improve research and data management processes

• Strong online research skills
• Advanced attention to detail and organizational ability
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets proficiency
• Excellent written English communication
• Ability to manage large datasets and lists accurately
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

• Experience in research, lead generation, business intelligence, or analyst roles
• CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.)
• Experience supporting M&A, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or advisory teams
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, or similar tools
• Experience with data cleanup and CRM administration
• Exposure to food & beverage, agribusiness, or investment sectors
