Role: Sales Support

Priority Location: Global

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Central Time, Monday through Friday

Salary Range: $2,500 - $3,500

Type of contract: Full-Time

Type of job: Remote

Our client is a full-service custom-branded merchandise provider based in Chicago. We run end-to-end merchandise programs for B2B teams: custom merch stores, gifting and onboarding kits, trade show programs, real-time order and inventory dashboards, secure warehousing, and global fulfillment. We're a small, fast-growing team, and the merch programs we run belong to companies you'd recognize: Deloitte, Aon, OpenTable, CoreWeave, Life360, and General Assembly among them. When one of their teams needs merch for a new hire class, an event, or a holiday send, we make it happen, and fast, thoughtful communication is a big part of why they stay with us. We're also becoming a technology company. Our client’s industry runs on spreadsheets, email chains, and disorganization, and we're building an operating system to replace all of it. We value high integrity, meritocracy, a strong work ethic, and a fun, personable attitude, and we hire people who thrive on ownership and want to build something

About the Role:

We're hiring Sales Support to join the team of one of our busiest Account Executives. This is a behind-the-scenes role where you'll help manage client communication, keep orders on track after the sale, prepare proposals and quotes, and research and recommend the best promotional product ideas for our customers. Our Account Executives sell custom merch to HR and marketing teams at national brands, fast-growing tech companies, and professional services firms. When our AEs do well, they get busy. Your job is to make sure their customers are always taken care of: replying quickly, keeping every project organized, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks once an order is placed. You'll be expected to become an expert in custom merchandise: everything from branded drinkware to apparel to tech accessories. If you love organizing details, writing thoughtful messages, and curating great products, you'll thrive here. If you already have an interest in merch, apparel, or promotional products, that's a major bonus

What You'll Own

• Respond to customer emails and support client communication on behalf of your Account Executive

• Own post-sale communication: confirm order details after payment is received, give customers proactive status updates, and share tracking information when orders ship

• Follow up with vendors on production timelines and delivery dates

• Set up and update merch stores, claim pages, and inventory dashboards

• Research and recommend custom merchandise and promotional product ideas for our clients

• Create professional, customer-facing proposals and quotes using Google Sheets

• Prepare invoices and payment links, and help with billing questions

• Maintain and update HubSpot records, deals, and contact details

• Organize inboxes and files, and keep everything clearly labeled and updated

• Help execute new hire gift programs, trade show orders, and holiday merch campaigns

We use tools like Front, Google Sheets, HubSpot, Slack, Notion, Asana, and Fireflies, and we use AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT every day. Experience with any of these is a plus, but not required as long as you're a fast learner.

Requirements

• Exceptional written English: this is the most important skill

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Confident using Google Sheets to create clean, customer-facing documents

• Comfortable researching products, pulling details, and writing short descriptions

• Enjoys merchandising, design, gift-giving, or finding creative product ideas

• Proactive, fast learner who's comfortable working independently

• Available to work 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Central Time, Monday through Friday

• Your own computer, a reliable internet connection, and a quiet working environment Benefits

• Flexible Paid Time Off: no set number of days. Take the time you need; we just ask that you don't abuse it.

• Holidays: all US holidays off, plus the local holidays in your country whenever you request them.

Logistics

• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), fully remote, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Central Time

• Pay: 7.00 USD per hour (280.00 weekly, $1,213.33 monthly), plus performance bonuses and pay reviews every six months based on performance

• Pay Schedule: paid automatically through Gusto, weekly or every two weeks, whichever you prefer

• Start Date: As soon as possible
