As a Java Solution Architect (Azure & Microservices), you will: Define and design end-to-end solution architecture for backend services, APIs, and data flows. Architect and implement scalable microservices-based systems using Java and Azure cloud. Develop high-level and low-level design documents, including architecture diagrams and data models. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and cloud governance frameworks. Guide development teams to ensure consistent implementation of architectural principles. Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, and code quality assessments. Act as a subject matter expert in Java, microservices, and Azure-based backend technologies. Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and security stakeholders to deliver solutions. Design and enforce API standards, security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS), and best practices. Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or Azure Event Hub. Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., financial domain standards). Incorporate monitoring, logging, observability, and resilience patterns into system design. Break down complex requirements into clear, actionable technical deliverables. Drive scalability, performance optimization, and cost-efficient cloud solutions. What You Bring to the Table: Advanced expertise in Java (17+) and enterprise backend development. Strong experience designing microservices and cloud-native architectures. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and DevOps pipelines. Deep understanding of RESTful API design and API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger). Experience implementing API security (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS). Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka / Azure Event Hub). Familiarity with distributed systems concepts such as load balancing, caching, and fault tolerance. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git-based workflows. Knowledge of architecture frameworks (DDD, C4 model, TOGAF). Understanding of compliance and security standards in financial environments. Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
