As a Rubrik Backup Engineer, you will: Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level NAS backup environments in mission-critical setups Deploy, configure, and support Rubrik Enterprise Data Protection Suite across complex infrastructures Lead Rubrik CDM to RSC migrations and ensure seamless transition with minimal downtime Perform Rubrik cluster upgrades, lifecycle management, and performance optimization Handle ransomware recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning for Rubrik clusters Monitor and manage Rubrik capacity planning and storage optimization Integrate Rubrik systems with enterprise tools using APIs and automation frameworks Support backup and recovery for SAP HANA, Kubernetes, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and VMware environments What You Bring to the Table: 8+ years of experience in backup, storage, or data protection engineering roles Strong hands-on expertise with Rubrik CDM, RSC, and cluster management Proven experience in enterprise NAS environments with high availability requirements Solid understanding of cyber resiliency and data security frameworks Experience handling ransomware recovery scenarios and DR strategies Expertise in API integrations, including REST and GraphQL for automation Experience integrating enterprise platforms like MuleSoft, ServiceNow, and Splunk Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere Working knowledge of databases including Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and SAP HANA You should possess the ability to: Troubleshoot complex backup and recovery issues in large-scale environments Automate backup operations and workflows using APIs and scripting tools Analyze storage utilization and forecast capacity requirements effectively Implement secure and resilient backup strategies aligned with cyber security standards Work in Agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams Manage multi-platform workloads including cloud, virtualization, and databases Perform root cause analysis and provide long-term solutions Communicate technical issues clearly to stakeholders and non-technical teams What we bring to the table: Opportunity to work on large-scale, enterprise-level backup and recovery systems Exposure to cutting-edge technologies in data protection and cyber resiliency A collaborative Agile work environment with cross-functional teams Hands-on experience with modern automation, APIs, and cloud integrations Challenging projects involving ransomware protection and disaster recovery Continuous learning opportunities in storage, cloud, and security domains Let’s Connect Want to discuss this opportunity in more detail?
