As a Content Coordinator, you will play a key role in strengthening how content moves through the Editorial team and serve as the front door to the Editorial Hub and copy desk capability, ensuring work is clearly scoped, prioritized, and ready for execution. The role also supports broader Editorial operations, helping improve workflows, enabling seamless cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining high-quality editorial standards. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complex inputs, improving systems, and helping teams move work efficiently. The Content Coordinator is key to managing workflows, improving content operations, and supporting high-quality editorial work. 

You’ll coordinate timelines, oversee content intake, and partner with writers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth production and strategic alignment. You’ll also help create, manage, and maintain a centralized marketing library, ensuring teams have easy access to current, high-quality resources. You’ll have a key role in coordinating with our team of freelance writers and help with content collection and distribution.  

Unlike traditional project managers, this role brings a strong editorial lens to all planning and collaboration.

Content intake & workflow ownershipOwn intake across Editorial portfolios, including copy desk, to evaluate incoming work for priority and alignment, as well as resource. Proactively partner with stakeholders to clarify needs and ensure assigned work is ready for execution.   

Editorial operations & coordination: Support Editorial planning and prioritization to maintain content calendars and production timelines across portfolios. Work with other MarComms teams (design, video, marketing) to manage workflows and develop high-quality content on time. 

Process improvements & systems thinking: Help teams understand Editorial processes and how to engage with the team, as well as recommend and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and clarity.  

  • Own editorial planning, scheduling, and intake for MarComms portfolios.
  • Maintain content calendars and production timelines.
  • Assist with vetting and assigning projects that require editorial support.
  • Shape and clarify project briefs, ensuring clear goals and alignment with brand standards.
  • Coordinate approvals and cross-team collaboration with video, design, and digital partners.
  • Track progress and manage workflows in Workfront or similar tools.
  • Steward our library of marketing materials: Identify, source, and supply core content materials for stakeholders within MarComms and across the business.
  • Apply an editorial eye to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality across all content. 
  • 2+ years of experience in editorial operations, content coordination, or journalism.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Editorial judgment and a solid grasp of writing standards and brand voice.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with CMS toolsWorkfront (or comparable marketing workflow management platform), and digital content workflows.
  • Attention to detail, with a strong command of grammar and editorial style.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and managing freelance contributors is a plus.
