As a manager, Partner Resources you are a strategic business partner and advocate to the vp, Roasteries (Milan, New York and Chicago Roasteries). You will also lead, develop and inspire a team of PRO Business Partners supporting the New York Roastery and Chicago Roastery. This position will also be a key PRO (HR) business partner to the team leading Brand and Cultural Leadership, including Pike Place Market. You will ensure the effective delivery of Partner Resources (HR) products and services to all Starbucks partners across the Starbucks Roasteries and the Brand and Cultural Leadership team. We take pride in all our partners modeling and acting in accordance with the Starbucks guiding principles, and as a manager, Partner Resources you will be a leader in this space. As a manager, Partner Resources, you will: · Lead a team – You will lead, develop and inspire a team of on-site PRO Business Partners focused on elevating the partner experience in our New York Roastery and Chicago Roastery. · Collaborate – Partner with your Partner Resources leader, specialist teams such as Talent, Compensation and Org Effectiveness and cross- functional teams to undertake organizational effectiveness work for Roasteries and Brand and Cultural Leadership teams including leveraging change resources, undertaking job description and job titles review, recommending structure changes. You will also play a key role in establishing ways of working for the Roastery team that will span a broad geography (Seattle, Chicago, New York and Milan). · Serve as an advocate – Solicit and listen to partners' input and take an active role in providing solutions that help to create efficiencies in roles across and within the retail teams and support roles. · Support – Contribute towards the creation of clearer career pathing for Roastery partners and partners supporting the Brand and Cultural Leadership team at Pike Place Starbucks partners, Starbucks partners and external candidates coming to us from the hospitality industry. · Influence – Provide strategic consultation and recommendations to Partner Resources leader and business leaders that achieve desired efficiencies and outcomes. · Analyze – Assess organizational and partner needs to enhance organizational effectiveness, team development and individual capabilities. Conduct research on org design options, prepare reports and presentations. · Innovate – you will have the opportunity to lead and collaborate in unique projects on behalf of the Starbucks Roasteries that help the business achieve its business, partners and customer strategic objectives We’d love to hear from people with: · A strong desire to grow in the Partner Resources Organization at Starbucks · Expertise in the food & beverage industry · Experience with organizational design and effectiveness · Project management and change management experience · Experience in dealing with ambiguous situations and challenges each and every day in a fast-moving, fast-paced environment · Ability to connect quickly with all levels of leaders and influence positive outcomes that drive results · Ability to work independently and make confident decisions without all needed and necessary information · Creative problem solving skills · Experience leveraging existing resources to create new and improved processes and systems to support new unique business units · Experience collaborating with cross functional support teams As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
