St. Edmund's Academy
Instructional Associate
Start Date - August 2026
Frequently in the early stages of their career in education, Instructional Associates provide St. Edmund's Academy with invaluable support of the teaching and learning process while gaining meaningful experience in areas of professional interest. Instructional Associates are full time employees who fulfill daily substitute teaching duties in our Early Childhood (Preschool-Kindergarten) Lower School (Grades 1-4) and Upper School (Grades 5-8) divisions.
Candidates must have an outstanding record teaching early childhood, elementary, and/or middle school school-aged groups and thrive in roles that require flexibility. The ability to be collaborative, detail-oriented and innovative is essential. Excellent writing skills and strong verbal communication are expected. The candidate must model and champion the school’s core values including an overt commitment to inclusion and belonging for all members of the school’s diverse community.
Teachers dedicated to meeting the academic and personal needs of the students and collaborating with colleagues and parents should apply. A Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred though candidates with relevant experience in the field of early childhood education may be considered. Submission of required State and Federal clearances is required.
