At Thornbury Community Services (TCS), we believe exceptional care starts with genuine connections. We’re looking for Support Workers within Learning Disability Services who are committed to making a real difference - people who truly care and want to build long-term partnerships with those they support.

This isn’t just a job; it’s an opportunity to empower an individual with ADHD, FASD, learning disability and PTSD to live a safe, fulfilled life. You’ll help clients achieve personal goals, explore new hobbies, and enjoy trips into the community - all while creating relationships that bring lasting satisfaction for both you and them.

You will work as part of a strong, regular team for 4:1 & 3:1 shifts, support our client with structure and routine. You will be a strong communicator and adapt to varying moods and situations. You should be engaging and enthusiastic, supporting day to day with puzzles, swimming, baking and much more.

Responsibilities

· 12 months UK-based experience in a community setting.

· Confidence in maintaining risk and using physical intervention where required.

· Confidence in utilising PBS standards within services.

· Strong personal values and ethical standards.

· Dedication, commitment and stability.

· A genuine desire to build lasting relationships and make a positive impact.
