About Us The Staff Pad has partnered with a second-generation, family-owned distributor specializing in low-voltage electronic solutions and we are looking for dedicated and reliable Assistant Branch Manager to play a key part in supporting branches across all areas of daily operations You will work closely with sales and logistics teams to help ensure smooth branch performance, while assisting in the implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices that drive operational excellence and support overall branch and organizational goals. What You’ll Do Deliver exceptional customer service by consistently maintaining high service standards. Address service concerns through coaching, collaboration, or escalation to the appropriate leadership team. Maintain a strong understanding of all branch operations and sales functions, including counter and telephone sales, shipping and receiving, repairs/CRS, RM module, and inventory management. Partner with the Branch Manager to strengthen vendor relationships, coordinate customer and employee training, and support go-to-market strategies with the Marketing Department. Assist in reducing slow-moving and obsolete inventory to maintain overall inventory health. Support the Branch Manager in achieving branch sales goals through planning, team collaboration, and mentoring the sales staff. Meet or exceed personal sales goals established by Sales and Branch Managers Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and developing branch personnel to build a strong, customer-focused team. Oversee daily showroom stocking, organization, and merchandising to create excellent customer experience. Support the handling of employee evaluations, grievances, and personnel matters in coordination with branch and administrative leadership. Perform all branch administrative responsibilities effectively and accurately. Maintain clear and consistent communication with branch leadership and the Corporate Office as needed. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, reporting concerns to the appropriate leadership team. Help maintain a safe, secure, clean, and professional working environment. What We Are Looking For Educational Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience 5–7 years of relevant sales experience 1–3 years of leadership or management experience preferred Experience within the low-voltage industry, specifically in fire and life safety systems, video surveillance, access control, and voice communication solutions Experience with training, coaching, and mentoring team members Other Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly understand and convey information Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings or weekends as needed (less than 10% of travel required) This position is based in a professional office setting The role regularly utilizes standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, photocopiers, and software suites such as the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and Microsoft Office products Physical Demands May involve a mix of standing, walking, sitting, and using hands and fingers to operate tools or controls, as well as climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and communicating verbally or audibly. Must be able to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 70 pounds. Requires strong visual capabilities, including close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
