The Staff Pad is partnering with a second-generation, family-owned distributor specializing in low-voltage electronics, and we are seeking a Warehouse Associate (Logistics Associate) to play a key role in exceeding company standards for customer service through logistics and sales support. Position Overview This role ensures products are handled accurately, safely, and efficiently while supporting smooth warehouse and showroom operations. Any service variances should be promptly communicated to Branch Management, Assistant Management, Logistics Management, or other applicable leadership. This is a full-time, non-exempt role. What You’ll Do Customer Service & Operations Support Always deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers Maintain company standards through accuracy, communication, and accountability Support leadership by reporting discrepancies, safety concerns, or operational issues Respond to reasonable management requests with flexibility and teamwork Complete required training for regulatory compliance (eg. Hazmat and forklift), as needed. Maintain clear and open communication with Branch and Corporate Management, ensuring all parties are updated on outcomes, discrepancies, safety issues, and any potential concerns Follow all reasonable requests from management as needed Shipping Responsibilities Pick and prepare orders (will-call and ship outs) with accuracy Mark will-call orders and store them in their designated locations. Ensure all orders are double-checked for quality control Pack products efficiently to reduce damage and shipping costs Enter shipping details into shipping systems following company procedures Receiving Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities Inspect products for visible damage Enter received items into the ERP system accurately Stock products in designated warehouse or showroom locations following the product master list Rotate inventory and follow guidelines for non-stock items Stocking Responsibilities Restock front showroom shelves and displays daily Inspect packages for appearance and cleanliness Front face, and organize products for presentation and accessibility Adjust shelving to accommodate new SKUs or product lines in both warehouse and showroom Ensure proper labeling, bin placement, and inventory accuracy Follow showroom and warehouse master inventory lists to ensure proper merchandise placement Merchandising & General Housekeeping Support consistent product presentation in partnership with Operations and Marketing Maintain a clean, organized, and safe showroom environment in compliance with company safety and appearance standards Remove trash daily and eliminate potential safety hazards Keep shipping areas and warehouse floors clean, organized and debris-free What We Are Looking For Required Skills Strong oral and written communication skills Problem-solving ability and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ year of warehouse experience preferred Familiarity with low-voltage products is a plus Strong commitment to customer service excellence Work Environment This role operates in both warehouse and showroom environments. Employees must be proficient in operating forklifts (where applicable), pallet jacks, packaging equipment, and other logistics tools. This role also requires use of standard office systems , including ERP platforms, HCM systems, computers, phones, photocopiers, Microsoft Office suite and printers. Physical Demands The employee may occasionally need to stand, walk, or sit; use hands to operate tools; reach, climb stairs, balance, and perform bending, kneeling, crouching & crawling Employees must occasionally lift or move items up to 70 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception. Why Join Us?
