The Staff Pad is partnering with Blue Ridge Medical Center, located in Blue Ridge, GA and currently seeking a dependable and skilled PRN Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection and support laboratory operations in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in patient interaction, values precision, and enjoys being part of a collaborative healthcare team. What You’ll Do Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for patients of all ages with accuracy, professionalism, and compassion Accurately document specimen collection details, patient information, assess medical necessity and order tests using the laboratory information system Ensure specimens are properly labelled, handled, and meet laboratory acceptance standards and transport specimens to testing areas Provide clear and supportive instructions to patients regarding specimen collection procedures Collaborate with physicians, nurses, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care Maintain flexibility in adapting to changing workflows and varying work locations Uphold all safety, infection control, and compliance standards What We’re Looking For Previous phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and laboratory collection procedures preferred Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care Education & Training High school diploma or GED preferred Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification preferred Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program preferred Additional coursework in medical technology, anatomy, or patient care is a plus Why Join Blue Ridge Medical Center?
