We exist to create a more connected, compassionate, and confident experience for people with cancer and those who care for them. We make it easier to get answers, access high-quality care quickly, and feel supported throughout treatment and beyond.

Today, Thyme Care is a market-leading value-based oncology care enabler, partnering with national and regional health plans, providers, and employers to deliver better outcomes and lower costs for thousands of people across the country. Our model combines high-touch human support with powerful technology and AI to bring together everyone involved in a person’s cancer journey: caregivers, oncologists, health plans, and employers.

As a tech-native organization, we believe technology should strengthen the human connection at the center of care. Through data science, automation, and AI, we simplify complexity, improve collaboration, and help care teams focus on what matters most: supporting people through cancer.

Looking ahead, our vision is bold: to become a household name in cancer care, where every person diagnosed asks for Thyme Care by name. If you’re inspired to make cancer care more human and to help reimagine what’s possible, we’d love to meet you. Together, we can build a future where every person with cancer feels truly cared for, in every moment that matters.

As Thyme Care continues to scale, we are focused on identifying the highest-impact ways to accelerate our growth, both organically and through acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships.

The Director of Corporate Development will lead Thyme Care’s inorganic growth agenda, with a primary focus on acquisitions and investments. You will translate company priorities into actionable growth theses, develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities, and lead the evaluation and execution of transactions that advance Thyme Care’s long-term strategy.

This is a hands-on role that will combine strategy, relationship development, financial analysis, and transaction execution. You will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to determine where Thyme Care should build, buy, partner, or invest and help turn the highest-priority opportunities into action.

  • Lead end-to-end evaluation of strategic opportunities, including financial modeling, diligence, and structuring, partnering closely with the executive team on go/no-go recommendations

  • Drive acquisitions and investments from initial evaluation through close, including financial modeling, valuation, structuring, diligence, negotiation, and execution.

  • Build and maintain relationships with financial sponsors, banks, and strategic counterparties, and translate complex transaction structures into clear recommendations for leadership and the board

  • Own analysis of complex deal mechanics and synthesize findings into board-ready materials that drive decisions

  • Help build the processes and infrastructure required for a disciplined and scalable corporate development function.

  • 8+ years of experience across corporate development, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, management consulting, and/or strategic finance.

  • Meaningful experience evaluating or executing acquisitions, investments, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, or other complex transactions.

  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.

  • Experience developing investment theses, market maps, competitive landscapes, target screens, or strategic recommendations for senior executives.

  • A high degree of ownership and the ability to drive multiple opportunities forward in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

  • Comfort leading diligence workstreams and coordinating cross-functional input from Finance, Legal, Product, Clinical, Operations, Growth, Data, and other internal teams.

  • Ability to influence senior leaders and synthesize complex analyses into clear recommendations.

At Thyme Care, our core values guide us in everything we do: Act with our members in mind, Move with purpose, and Seek diverse perspectives. They anchor our business decisions, including how we grow, the products we make, and the paths we choose—or don’t choose.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Thyme Care. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Thyme Care employees. We recognize a history of inequality in healthcare. We’re here to challenge the status quo and create a culture of inclusion through the care we give and the company we build. We embrace and celebrate a diversity of perspectives in reflection of our members and the members we serve. We are an equal-opportunity employer.
