Senior Environmental Specialist

As the Senior Environmental Scientist, you’ll take a lead role with environmental

compliance across air, water and waste for Intrepid’s largest worksite. This isn’t just a job

ticking compliance boxes, you will also help shape and advance environmental best

practices across the organization, as we continue to scale as an organization.

• Demonstrated proficiency leading and advancing environmental initiatives in

dynamic environments.

• Ability to balance both strategy and “hands on” field execution. You must be

comfortable shifting between a climate-controlled office and rugged industrial field

locations, including processing facilities and construction sites.

• Working knowledge of the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Resource Conversation

and Recovery Act, NEPA, MSHA, OSHA, and other applicable regulatory

requirements.

• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to generate solutions using

sound judgement. Must be able to effectively gather, synthesize, analyze and

package/present environmental information to internal and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to inspire confidence and trust as a competent team player.

• Because time will be required in the field, you will be required to walk/stand for

longer periods of time, lift up 50 pounds occasionally, climb, etc. (physical activity)
