Tax Research Administrator III

Agency & Stakeholder Communication -Communicate with tax agencies to obtain information and resolve notice discrepancies. -Collaborate with internal teams to gather required data and support case resolution. - Provide clear and timely updates to stakeholders on case progress. Quality & Continuous Improvement -Ensure accuracy and completeness in case handling and documentation. -Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field. -3-5 years of experience in payroll tax research, compliance, or agency interaction. -Federal Payroll Taxes -State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) -State Income Tax (SIT) -Local tax regulations -Familiarity with tax agency portals and payroll systems. -Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines. -Exposure to multi-state payroll tax environments. Attention to detail Analytical thinking Time management and prioritization Learning agility -Identify recurring issues and escalate trends to supervisor.
