Associate Director, South Palm Beach/Broward

FIDF is currently seeking a full-time Associate Chapter Director, reporting to the Chapter Director, South Palm Beach and Broward, to support and expand the Chapter for a dynamically expanding non-profit agency.

The focus of this job is on achieving results which are aligned with the larger picture of the organization and its strategic fun

draising goals. Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, is the key to achieving success in this role.

There is an emphasis on building rapport and relationships with individuals and groups and requires an outgoing, poised, and persuasive communication style. Because the pace of the work is faster than average, the ability to learn quickly and thoroughly while continually recognizing and adapting to changing conditions is critical.

Emphasis is on results, relationship building and effective use of the Organizational systems; to cultivate or steward gifts from individuals, foundations and planned- giving.

• →Working with the Chapter Director, and team, creating a work plan, setting goals, and implementing plans to steward existing donors to retain and grow
• →Create and manage pipeline reports to support chapter growth
• →Work with local Board members and serve as a resource to those who engage in prospect/donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
• →Effectively utilize the CRM platform in support of donor relationship management
• →Create and manage peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, as needed/requested by donors
• →Working as the chapter liaison with the National Development Operations and Marketing for campaign-related materials including donor gratitude to ensure accuracy and consistency of messaging.
• →Manage the planning and implementation of special events for donor recognition and fundraising; design and implement stewardship activities and participate in the creation of a calendar of events for the year.
• →Support Office operations - manage, facilitate and implement communications.
• →Collaborate with the Southeast team members on special projects.
• →Assume other responsibilities as requested.
• →It is important for the Associate Chapter Director to have a sincere and genuine interest in theimportance of FIDF’s mission of supporting soldiers, families, and veterans of the Israel Defense Forces.

• Fundraising goal to be determined via donor acquisition or move management, find and secure new gifts >$1,800+.

• Bachelor’s Degree from and accredited college/university preferred
• Minimum 5 years of fundraising experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications required and experience using CRM tools, with Raisers Edge experience preferred
• Experience using MS PowerPoint and creation of presentations for group and individual meetings
• Ability to travel locally required. Occasional evening and working on Sundays required.
