• →Lead all daily refrigerated distribution center operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping
• →Build, hire, and develop a high performing team, including supervisors and hourly crew
• →Establish and maintain food safety, cold chain integrity, OSHA, and regulatory compliance standards
• →Own operational KPIs related to safety, quality, service level, inventory accuracy, labor productivity, and cost control
• →Partner cross functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, People and Transportation teams
• →Lead SOP development, training programs, and standard work to ensure consistent, scalable operations
• →Oversee equipment readiness, maintenance coordination, vendor relationships, and fleet interfaces
• →Manage budgets, labor planning, and performance to financial targets
• →Serve as a visible, hands-on leader who models Vital Farms values and people-first culture
• →Support network wide initiatives and best-practice sharing across sites

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse or distribution operations, ideally in refrigerated or food environments
• Proven experience leading teams in high-volume, safety-sensitive operations, ASRS knowledge is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of food safety, OSHA, and cold storage best practices
• Experience launching or scaling operations is strongly preferred
• Comfort working onsite in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Willingness to relocate to, or commute within reasonable distance of, Seymour, Indiana
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Ability to travel up to 50% during the first year for training and ramp up; ~10–15% thereafter
