About the Role:
The Marketing Strategist – MDU will help drive growth in Kinetic’s multi-dwelling unit and multi-tenant environment segment by supporting marketing strategies that increase fiber penetration and strengthen market execution in targeted communities. This role aligns with Kinetic’s broader priorities of building fiber, selling fiber, improving customer loyalty, and increasing efficiency across the business. This position will work within a modernized marketing organization focused on more sophisticated growth strategies, including segmentation of the footprint to prioritize high-value areas with lower competitive intensity and greater opportunity to win new customers for life.
What You’ll Do:
Act as the subject matter expert on Kinetic’s MDU offerings, buyer needs, and leasing and development phases; advise teams on product-market fit, positioning, and channel strategies.
Maintain a deep understanding of the MDU marketplace and competitive landscape; synthesize market trends, competitor moves, and feedback (property owner and residents) into actionable guidance.
Provide input to property value proposition based on market dynamics, competitive benchmarking, and performance data.
Partner with analytics team to leverage performance data to guide property and resident acquisition strategies.
Serve as the GTM architect supporting brand by defining the strategic foundation: value added services, product differentiation, rate structures.
Cross-functional collaboration with other teams to align business objectives
Synthesize research, performance insights, and functional owner input into actionable recommendations
Act as a strategic partner across functions to help prioritize opportunities
Define the target property profiles and key decision makers for all MDU marketing initiatives.
Translate technical fiber specs into property value and residential experience propositions to inform brand messaging and creative.
Develop high-touch B2B2C marketing frameworks that address the dual-audience nature of MDUs (property owners/residents)
Do You Have:
Advanced analytical skills; fluency in Excel/Sheets, plus experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and CI platforms (e.g., AlphaSense).
Strong business acumen and the ability to link competitive findings to financial outcomes.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proven storyteller who can simplify complexity for executive audiences.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, juggle multiple priorities, and deliver under tight timelines.
Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action.
Occasional travel for conferences, field research, or stakeholder workshops.
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of professional experience, OR 12+ years of directly related professional experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

3–5+ years dedicated to competitive intelligence, strategy, pricing, or related functions.
Demonstrated success building or elevating CI programs that have measurably influenced pricing, product, or go-to-market decisions.
