About the Role:
The Senior Director of Channel Sales is a critical leadership role within Uniti, responsible for driving the growth and development of the channel sales program. This individual will lead a dynamic team of channel sales professionals and work closely with partners and resellers to expand Uniti’s market presence, enhance partner engagement, and deliver innovative solutions to customers.
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets for Uniti products and services.
Manage and lead a team of channel sales managers and support staff, providing direction, coaching, and development opportunities.
Foster strong relationships with key channel partners, understanding their business models, and aligning Uniti’s services to their needs to drive mutual growth.
Collaborate with marketing, product management, and other internal stakeholders to develop partner enablement programs that drive partner success.
Monitor and analyze channel sales performance metrics to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and implement strategic adjustments.
Oversee partner recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing support to ensure a high level of partner satisfaction and performance.
Represent Uniti at industry events, conferences, and through various forms of media to promote the brand and channel programs.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as legal and regulatory requirements affecting channel partnerships.
Manage channel sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control. Provide regular reporting on channel performance to senior leadership, along with insights and recommendations for continued improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field master s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with a significant portion in channel sales leadership within the telecommunications or technology industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and driving growth through channel partnerships.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high performing sales team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building and maintaining relationships.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to identify market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
Experience with CRM tools and sales performance analytics.
Ability to travel is required for partner meetings, team management, and industry events.
Passionate about technology and staying abreast of industry developments.
College degree and 10+ years professional level experience with 3-5 years supervisory experience or 14+ years professional level related experience with 3-5 years supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
