About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking a SAP SuccessFactors Operations Team Leader to join our Human Resources Digital Services & Products team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will lead a team of SAP SuccessFactors Specialists who support both the ongoing sustainment of a live, global SuccessFactors environment and project-based initiatives, including system enhancements, new functionality, and releases. You will be responsible for balancing operational stability with project delivery, ensuring high-quality support while enabling continuous improvement of the platform. As a hands-on leader, you will actively guide and mentor your team, and step in to provide direct assistance when needed to resolve complex challenges and ensure seamless operations. This role offers the opportunity to lead a skilled team, work with global stakeholders, and contribute to the evolution of an enterprise HR system that supports leader and associate self-service at scale, making a meaningful impact on the organization’s growth and success.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead, coach, guide, and mentor a team of SAP SuccessFactors Specialists supporting both production sustainment and project delivery.
- →Own day‑to‑day operational support for SAP SuccessFactors, including incident resolution, configuration updates, and system maintenance, providing hands-on support for complex issues as needed.
- →Plan and manage team capacity across steady‑state support, enhancements, and project workstreams.
- →Ensure all modifications and improvements conform to Gore standards for configuration, testing, documentation and change management.
- →Partner closely with HR, IT, and project stakeholders to understand requirements, alignment to leading practices, and prioritize work effectively.
- →Lead operational readiness and execution for SuccessFactors releases, patches, and project deployments.
- →Oversee root‑cause analysis and manage escalations for recurring or high‑impact issues.
- →Drive continuous improvement in system stability, usability, and self‑service adoption.
- →Track and report operational and delivery metrics to improve performance and transparency.
Requirements
~1 min read- 10+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience, including hands‑on configuration, sustainment, and project support with SAP SuccessFactors certification in at least one core module.
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams supporting both live production systems and project implementations.
- Strong understanding of SuccessFactors configuration, testing, release, and deployment best practices.
- Good understanding SAP SuccessFactors Change Management, SLA management & operations governance.
- Experience supporting global users and stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.
- Proven ability to balance operational stability with delivery of project commitments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including experience leading root‑cause analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience working with HR, IT, system integrators, and external vendors in enterprise environments.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience with service transition or managed services models (e.g., AMS, ITIL‑aligned support) for enterprise applications.
- Exposure to data analytics and reporting using Microsoft Azure, including integration of SuccessFactors data into enterprise analytics platforms.
- Understanding of compliance, controls, and audit readiness for enterprise HR systems, including awareness of data privacy, security, and regulatory considerations in a global environment.
