Consultant Plastic Surgeon

Woodston Personnel is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant in Plastic Surgery to join our client’s healthcare team. The Consultant will be responsible for providing specialist plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgical services to patients. The role involves the assessment, diagnosis, surgical treatment, and postoperative management of patients requiring reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. The Consultant Plastic Surgeon will deliver high-quality patient care, contribute to clinical governance, support multidisciplinary collaboration, and participate in teaching, research, and service development activities

  Assess, diagnose, and manage patients requiring plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgical procedures.

• →

  Perform a broad range of surgical procedures including reconstructive surgery, trauma reconstruction, skin cancer surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery, burn reconstruction, and cosmetic surgery as appropriate to the surgeon's expertise.

  Develop individualized treatment plans and provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care.

  Manage surgical emergencies and complications within the scope of practice.

• →

  Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other medical and surgical specialties.

  Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and clinical documentation.

• →

  Ensure informed consent is obtained and documented in accordance with professional and legal requirements.

• →

  Provide clinical leadership within the Plastic Surgery Department.

• →

  Support the development and implementation of clinical policies, guidelines, and protocols.

• →

  Participate in clinical governance, risk management, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.

• →

  Supervise, mentor, and support junior medical staff, residents, fellows, and allied healthcare professionals.

• →

  Maintain professional registration, licensure, and continuing medical education requirements.

• →

  Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice.

• →

  Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, fellows, and nursing staff.

• →

  Contribute to research activities, clinical studies, and evidence-based practice initiatives.

• →

  Present clinical and research findings at professional meetings, conferences, and educational events.

• →

  Engage in continuous professional development and lifelong learning.

• →

  Attend departmental meetings, multidisciplinary case conferences, and hospital committees as required.

  Participate in service planning, resource management, and departmental development activities.

• →

  Ensure compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and infection prevention and control procedures.

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification

US Board/ FRCS - Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma d'Etudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / Belgium / Finland / Spain

Minimum of 3–4 years of independent clinical experience post-board certification at the consultant or attending physician level.

Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
