- Assist with theater maintenance, and preparation for events held in the Black Box Theater
- Under the supervision of the Theater Technical Director:
- Hang and focus lighting equipment
- Build, move, and install scenic elements, and other performance equipment
- Paint scenery and props
- Use sewing machine to build or mend costumes
- Care for costumes including washing, drying, ironing, steaming, and other care methods
- Cleaning and maintenance of theater space and equipment
- Equipment organization and storage
- Event setup and strike
- Maintain a safe workplace through proper workwear including sturdy closed-toe shoes, durable pants, hair securely fashioned, and PPE as directed by the Technical Director
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb and work on ladders
- Ability to work at height
- Willingness to learn about and safely operate tools and equipment
- Flexible work hours depending on event needs (0-15 hours/week)
- Available hours will be Thursdays and Fridays 9am-5pm, weekends as needed, Monday-Wednesday as needed.
