Are you passionate about the Church's role in God's mission to the world? Do you love building relationships and inspiring communities to act? World Vision New Zealand is looking for a Part – Time Church Relationship Manager to grow and nurture partnerships with churches across the northern region. In this role, you will connect pastors, ministry leaders, and congregations with opportunities to pray, give, advocate, and change lives, including through the Chosen child sponsorship programme.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Identifying, connecting with, and prayerfully cultivating relationships with churches and Christian leaders.
- Building trusted relationships with pastors and church leaders through visits, meetings, and regular communication.
- Inviting churches to engage with World Vision's mission through the Chosen sponsorship programme, prayer, advocacy, and generosity.
- Representing World Vision at church services, Christian conferences, and community events.
- Maintaining accurate records of church partnerships using CRM tools.
- Providing regular reporting on church engagement and partnership progress.

About You:
- Actively involved in a Christian church community for at least 5 years, with a genuine understanding of church life and ministry.
- A strong personal commitment to the Christian faith, aligned with World Vision's mission and values.
- Established relationships within New Zealand's Christian church community, especially with church leaders and networks.
- Experience in relationship management, partnership development, fundraising, or ministry engagement.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools including Microsoft Office.
- Cultural humility and sensitivity when working with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Flexible to engage at evening or weekend church events and to travel when required.
- Current eligibility to work in New Zealand.

You'll be joining New Zealand's largest overseas humanitarian organisation, made up of 100 staff. Location and Hours
- Based in Penrose, Auckland
- Part-Time, Permanent position. 22.5hrs per week.
- Monday – Friday with typically 1-2 Sundays a month.
- Hybrid work model, minimum of 2 days in the office.
