We are looking for a skilled and passionate Data Visualization Expert to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SQL for data querying, along with strong experience in visualizing complex datasets into intuitive, interactive, and compelling visual representations. The role requires a strong understanding of data trends, patterns, and insights, paired with a creative approach to presenting data for business decision-making.

The AOC is chartered to support automations that drive efficiency and effectiveness through the business, focusing on most impact for our shared interests. We serve the operational needs of GroupM and operating companies through process automation and other technology solutions.

You will have daily contact with business stakeholders from WPP Media and operating companies and must be comfortable working with business stakeholders directly. Our primary goal is to drive measurable business outcomes and grow our contribution, and we must earn our right to exist. This is a small, scrappy group. We all‘get our hands in the dirt’ and play multiple roles.

• →Data Analysis & Visualization:
  • →Design, build, and maintain visually compelling dashboards, reports, and charts using advanced visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • →Know how of when and how to design data model for effective Dashboards yielding higher efficiency and lesser loading time
  • →Transform raw data into actionable insights by analysing trends and patterns and presenting them through intuitive visualizations.
  • →Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand key metrics and create visual solutions that align with business objectives.
• →SQL Expertise:
  • →Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and aggregate data from relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar).
  • →Able to write SQL queries to prepare data for visualizations, ensuring the data is clean, accurate, and properly structured for analysis.
  • →Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency in large datasets.
• →Data Integration & Transformation:
  • →Integrate data from multiple sources, including internal databases, APIs, and external systems, into cohesive visual reporting frameworks.
  • →Perform data wrangling, transformation, and cleansing to ensure data quality and consistency.
• →Continuous Improvement:
  • →Stay up to date with the latest trends in data visualization, SQL best practices, and data analytics tools.
  • →Continuously improve visualizations based on user feedback and emerging business needs.

• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL
  • Server, etc.).
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Proven Knowledge and Experience with DAX, MDX, etc
  • Proficiency in Excel and other data manipulation tools
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines
  • Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics (optional but a plus)
• Problem-solving – proven experience dealing with technical blockers.
• Analytical Skills:
  • Ability to analyse complex data and identify key insights and trends
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring that data visualizations are accurate and insightful
  • Understanding of data modelling and normalization principles
• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Data Visualization, SQL , RDBMS, Large Dataset Modelling, Interactive Dashboards
  • Experience working with large datasets and providing insights to drive business decisions –Data Telling a Story
• Mandatory Qualifications/Certifications:
  • Microsoft PL-300
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure(must))
  • Experience with advanced data analytics and machine learning models (a plus)
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
