What is the Solutions Consulting & Engineering (SC&E) Team and why join?
Solutions Consulting & Engineering is an organization that is Customer Focused and Solutions Led. We deliver end-to-end and emerging solutions to drive customer satisfaction, increase profitability and growth. Our success is enabled by our world-class management consulting, delivery excellence and engineering brilliance. Our goal is to bring together business acumen with full-stack technical know-how to develop innovative solutions for our clients' most complex challenges.
Position Overview:
WWT is looking for a senior consulting services leader who knows our targeted industries from the inside and has experience in identifying solutions to address key challenges. This is a strategic, client-facing consulting role. While this is not a delivery or technical architecture role, nor a quota-carrying sales role, individuals will be expected to grow services in target accounts/regions and support establishing program delivery where needed to ensure continuity from pre-sales to execution. You will build trusted relationships with business-unit leaders and C-suite executives at named organizations, understand what is actually standing between them and their goals, and work across WWT’s Solutions and other supporting organizations to shape the transformation work that follows. Your currency is trust, insight, and the ability to connect a real business problem to the right part of WWT.
Where WWT often enters an account through infrastructure or a technical project, the Client Services Growth Strategy Advisor opens a second door — through the business itself. This role is not a solo act; it will work in close partnership with:
- Account Leaders and Global Client Directors — who own the account relationship and the broader account plan.
- Industry Advisors — who bring deep domain credibility and long-standing client networks.
- Solution Architects and Engineers — who translate a business need into a technical approach and provide cross-industry perspective and consulting rigor
- Delivery teams — who take a shaped opportunity and make it real for the client.
The job is to be the connective tissue between what the client needs and what WWT can bring — and to make sure every handoff lands with context, not just a summary.
Position Focus – Life Sciences & BioPharma:
- Building relationships with business-unit leaders and C-suite executives at major Life Sciences organizations
- Understanding the strategic, operational, scientific, and technology challenges each stakeholder is actually facing — not just the ones on the surface.
- Identifying and qualifying the opportunities where WWT's capabilities can create measurable value.
- Surfacing transformation opportunities long before they become a formal RFP and bring the right combination of WWT's consulting, engineering, AI and data, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, digital, and strategic resourcing capabilities to support solutioning.
- Leading discovery sessions, executive briefings, workshops, assessments, and strategic road-mapping engagements that turn a business conversation into a shared plan.
- Connecting what you hear from the client to the right WWT experts, practices, partners, and delivery resources — quickly and accurately.
- Shaping complex, cross-functional opportunities from the first conversation through solution development, pursuit and where needed into delivery setup.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop the business case: value hypotheses, transformation roadmaps, and executive-ready recommendations that hold up in the boardroom.
- Collaborate closely with account leaders, industry advisors, solution architects, engineers, and delivery teams to bring the right people to every opportunity.
- Serve as the voice of the client inside WWT — bringing market and customer insight back into how WWT shapes its go-to-market approach.
- Establish success measures tied to real business outcomes: R&D productivity, faster clinical development, manufacturing efficiency and quality, reduced compliance risk, innovation, and stronger commercial performance.
Representative Client and Business-Unit Engagements:
The position will work across the full Life Sciences value chain, adapting the conversation to whichever part of the business is in the room:
- Research & Development / Drug Discovery — advising R&D and discovery leadership on how AI and data platforms can sharpen target selection and shorten the path from idea to candidate.
- Clinical Development & Clinical Operations — helping trial leaders modernize how they manage sites, data, and patient engagement across the clinical program.
- Regulatory & Medical Affairs — supporting the shift toward digital submission, evidence generation, and modern medical information management.
- Manufacturing, Quality & Plant Operations — working with plant and quality leaders on digital plant-floor initiatives, compliance, and operational technology modernization.
- Supply Chain & Distribution — partnering with supply chain leaders on visibility, resilience, and cold-chain and distribution technology.
- Commercial Operations & Market Access — helping commercial leaders use data and AI to sharpen launch strategy, pricing, and market access execution.
- Enterprise Technology, Data, AI & Digital Transformation — engaging CIOs, CDOs, and heads of digital on the platforms and governance that make every capability above possible.
