About the Role 
As a Talent Specialist at ZURU, you will get the chance to support/own the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding, while working alongside a high-performing Talent Team.
 
This hands-on, fast-paced role gives you real ownership from day one. You will contribute shaping how we attract, engage, and retain top talent, enabling ZURU to grow at speed and make an impact worldwide while also letting you build your expertise across diverse markets and functions, and accelerate your career faster than a traditional TA role. 
 
Position Impact 
First 3–6 months: Get to know ZURU better. Deliver the ZURU pitch to candidates, build strong relationships with hiring managers, champion the ZURU hiring framework, source top talent, and demonstrate ZURU DNA in every interaction. 
 
Longer term: We plan that you will become a trusted talent advisor, anticipate future talent needs, build proactive global talent pipelines, and drive high-quality hiring across the business. 
  • Source and engage top talent for strategic global roles. 
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to accelerate hiring timelines. 
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to align on priorities. 
  • Champion ZURU’s hiring framework and recruitment best practices. 
  • Deliver actionable talent insights to inform strategy and decision-making. 
  • Enhance processes to create a world-class candidate experience. 
  • 1–3 years of talent/recruitment experience, preferably in-house or in a high-growth business 
  • Strong CV screening and direct sourcing skills – you know how to find hard-to-reach talent and don't give up easily! 
  • Excellent communication skills - you can influence, persuade, and build relationships with candidates and hiring managers 
  • Solutions-focused and resilient – you see obstacles as problems to solve, not reasons to stop 
  • Hungry to learn, take ownership, and thrive in a high-performance culture 
  • If you are a driven career shifter (from Business Development, Operations, Retail, Sales, Marketing, Design) with less than 2 years of experience, we're also open to getting to know you!
  • Be adaptable and versatile – embrace the challenge of recruiting across vastly different roles, from engineers to marketers to operations leads, learning quickly and pivoting seamlessly 
  • Take extreme ownership – drive your recruitment processes end-to-end, proactively problem-solve, and own your results without waiting to be told what to do 
  • Move with speed and precision – balance moving quickly while maintaining quality and candidate experience 
  • Build genuine relationships – connect authentically with candidates and hiring managers alike, becoming a trusted advisor than just a process coordinator 
  • Embrace feedback and iterate – seek out data and insights, learn from what works and what doesn't, and continuously refine your approach to get better results 
  • Stay resilient under pressure – thrive in ambiguity, manage multiple competing priorities, and maintain energy and positivity even when facing setbacks or tight deadlines
