About the Role
~1 min readIn this role, the Drink Cook is responsible for the creation, quality, proper storing and packaging of our coffee and tea products. The Drink Cook is the core of our business, producing all of our signature beverages by brewing all our signature tea and coffee bases. This role will work closely with store management and the back of house kitchen to ensure the proper production
Responsibilities

- →Develop strong familiarity with all menu items, including preparation times and product specifications
- →Ensure a consistent, adequate supply of ingredients and products through regular preparation, inventory, and ordering
- →Maintain strict adherence to company and state food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- →Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace at all times
- →Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper equipment handling and security protocols
- →Demonstrate strong attention to detail in product quality, consistency, and cleanliness
- →Maintain a calm and professional demeanor during regular operations, high-volume periods, and unexpected situations
- →Communicate effectively and proactively with the Store Manager, leadership, and team members to address issues such as inventory needs, product quality, or equipment concerns
- →Collaborate with team members and support overall store operations as needed
- →Report to work on time for all scheduled shifts and fulfill responsibilities for the duration of the shift or until relieved by a supervisor
- →Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by a supervisor
- →Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and assist with team lifts when needed
Requirements

- Proficiency with technology/computer systems (i.e. Excel, attendance system, ordering system, etc.)
- Have excellent communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to manager bakery operations independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and walking
- Eagerness to learn and build on constructive feedback
