Are you a commercially driven professional with a passion for market access, public procurement, and strategic stakeholder engagement? Do you want to play a key role in ensuring that innovative diabetes care solutions reach patients across Sweden?

At Abbott Diabetes Care, we are looking for a Tender Specialist Sweden to lead and drive regional tender activities, helping secure patient access while delivering sustainable business growth.

As Tender Specialist Sweden, you will own and lead selected regional tender markets with full responsibility for developing and executing winning tender strategies. You will manage the entire tender lifecycle, from pre-tender activities and stakeholder engagement to submission, contract implementation, and follow-up.

In this highly visible role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Quality & Regulatory, Market Access, and Business Excellence to ensure Abbott is optimally positioned for success in the Swedish market.

Responsibilities

  • →Lead and coordinate all phases of the tender process, including market preparation, hearings, RFIs, submissions, contract negotiations, and post-award activities.
  • →Develop and execute strategies that strengthen Abbott's position in regional tenders and increase win rates.
  • →Build and maintain relationships with regional payers and other key external stakeholders.
  • →Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and procurement trends to identify opportunities and risks.
  • →Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality tender submissions.
  • →Manage tender-related reporting, contract documentation, pricing databases, and rebate administration.
  • →Support long-term market access strategies and contribute to Abbott's commercial success in Sweden.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or another relevant field.
  • Experience in tender management, market access, public procurement, or a related commercial function.
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to translate market insights into winning strategies.
  • Understanding of Swedish healthcare procurement processes is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
