Food & Beverage Server

We are now accepting applications for the following position:

• Delivers exceptional service consistently.
• Greets each guest promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, a smile and good posture.
• Recognizes regular guests and greets them by name.
• Offers guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to guidelines of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.
• Serves and clears food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner.
• Familiar with the menu, including preparation, ingredients and description.
• Familiar with the wine list and wine and beverage service including stemware used.
• Completes opening and closing side work as assigned and has all tables set according to standard.
• Provides confident and educated advice on menu options as well as food and beverage pairings, including specials for the day.
• Serves any dishes to guests while explaining the contents and preparation.
• Presets tables with appropriate items for each course when necessary.
• Follows the established procedures to ensure knowledgeable, correct and efficient order taking.
• Carries trays with all food and beverage items.
• Resets tables quickly and efficiently.
• Ascertains a guest’s satisfaction and handles any problem which may arise by informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved.
• Recognizes and addresses potential intoxicated, disruptive or undesirable guests.
• Conducts self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the international hotel standards.

• Minimum 3 years’ of relevant experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Strong menu/wine/beverage knowledge with pairing expertise.
• Strong understanding of international service standards across casual dining concepts.
• Extensive knowledge and practical experience in implementing fine dining service standards.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to carry trays, stand for extended periods, and navigate outdoor/indoor spaces.

Salary: USD$8.00 - USD$14.00 Per Hour + gratuities
