AIPAC seeks a Principal Giving Senior Director responsible for operationalizing a national strategy for the cultivation, engagement, and acquisition of ultra-high-net-worth donors.

In partnership with the Senior Vice President, Transformational Wealth, The Senior Director will focus on developing scalable structures and strategies that enhance donor experience and maximize retention and growth of high-net-worth households.

This position will report to the SVP and will serve as a key partner to AIPAC’s most senior fundraising professionals in the field. The Director will work cross functionally across the organization to collaboratively achieve strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and lead a comprehensive strategy to enhance engagement, cultivation, and retention for high level donors across the organization.
  • Partner with AIPAC’s major gift fundraisers to create personalized cultivation and engagement strategies for high-net-worth donors and prospects.
  • Work with AIPAC’s major gift fundraisers and regional development staff to drive cross-regional identification, cultivation, and stewardship of high-level donors.
  • Create and implement a framework for comprehensive stewardship plans for high level donor households and their sphere of influence.
  • In partnership with the SVP, implement a national donor mapping initiative aimed at identifying the sphere of influence surrounding existing transformational wealth donors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, communications, content, and events teams to integrate messaging and develop engagement and stewardship opportunities that drive retention and acquisition.
  • Manage Executive Team fundraising and liase with regional staff to carry out solicitation and stewardship plans.

Requirements

  • Passion for a strong U.S.-Israel relationship, as well as knowledge of issues related to Israel, the Middle East, and American politics
  • An understanding and appreciation for AIPAC’s bipartisan, single-issue approach
  • 6+ years of experience in a related field with a proven track record in fundraising focusing on soliciting and stewarding six- and seven-figure donors
  • Work efficiently under pressure; meet deadlines; demonstrate strategic thinking and good decision-making, as well as entrepreneurial spirit
  • Exceptional people skills and the ability to build relationships within and outside of the organization
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to utilize donor management systems/databases
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate & listen to others

 

AIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between $175,000.00 and $215,000.00 for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidate’s skills and experience match the role’s requirements. AIPAC also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employees’ overall total compensation package. We currently work remotely two days a week and in our offices the other three. AIPAC is an equal-opportunity employer.
