Innovation Product Development Lead

ACG_3390_JOB Our client is a leading garment corporation, who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm. Key Responsibilities Lead innovation-focused product development projects from concept exploration through validation, development, and final commercialization readiness. Partner closely with product development, engineering, and innovation teams to transform early-stage ideas into executable product solutions. Drive end-to-end project management across internal teams, strategic manufacturing partners, and supplier networks to ensure development milestones are achieved on time. Translate conceptual prototypes and proof-of-concept ideas into scalable, production-ready products that can be executed consistently in manufacturing. Collaborate with advanced manufacturing partners and material/component suppliers to refine construction methods, processes, and technical solutions. Evaluate design, engineering, material, and process feasibility to ensure innovation concepts can be commercialized without compromising quality, performance, or speed. Identify technical risks, operational constraints, and execution challenges early, and lead cross-functional problem-solving to keep projects on track. Establish and maintain clear development cadence, communication routines, and decision-making alignment across headquarters, regional teams, factories, and vendors. Provide guidance and leadership to cross-functional stakeholders to improve execution discipline, accountability, and innovation delivery effectiveness. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, development updates, and technical communication to support visibility and alignment across regions. Support continuous improvement in innovation processes, development workflows, and commercialization readiness standards. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in product development, engineering, materials, manufacturing, or a related field. Strong background in footwear product development, with meaningful exposure to innovation-led or concept-driven product creation. Proven experience managing projects from concept through commercialization in a product development or technical innovation environment. Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, manufacturing partners, and supplier networks in Asia. Demonstrated ability to lead complex development programs involving multiple stakeholders across regions and functions. Strong technical understanding of footwear construction, materials, manufacturing processes, and product engineering principles. Ability to assess concept feasibility and translate innovation ideas into scalable and production-capable solutions. Good understanding of development timelines, commercialization requirements, and production-readiness considerations. Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. Excellent stakeholder management capability across global teams, regional offices, factories, and vendor partners. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical updates, risks, and recommendations. Professional working proficiency in English, both written and verbal. Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguity-rich environments. Strong coaching and coordination capability to elevate cross-functional execution rhythm and development effectiveness.
