Preschool Teacher

Founded in 1984 as American Academy of Gymnastics, American Kids Sports Center (AKSC) has grown into one of California's most unique and successful kids sports center.  Under the direction of owners Mike & Sheri Williams, AKSC has established an organization that sees its purpose as helping children to learn strong VALUES with which they will set worthy GOALS and for which we must train them in the SKILLS needed to achieve those goals.  Sport training is the tool we use to achieve that purpose.

We provide licensed preschool instruction to our community that builds confidence and develops safety skills in a student-centered, active-learning environment. We are committed to providing activity and play based teaching techniques to the children in our community, giving them the tools they need to be successful. • Caring and compassion for children 
• A minimum of 12 units in Early Childhood Development courses, with a transcript showing your grades
• 12 months experience in a license child care facility
• Fingerprint and background check clearance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and boisterous atmosphere for periods of up to 5-6 hours
• Strong communication skills with children and adults
• Great attitude and willingness to be coached
• The ability to focus in a shared workspace environment
• The ability to commit to at least 1 full school year of employment
